The CARE Ministry believes that every person who visits our church family comes by divine appointment. We believe God guides persons to our church because we can minister to them. It is therefore a responsibility to minister well. CARE Ministry is predominantly a greeting / welcoming ministry. There are four CARE Teams, one for each week of each month. Team One serves on the first week, Team Two on the second, and so on… The main responsibilities of a CARE Minister is to smile, have breath mints, welcome guests as they enter for worship, assist new visitors to feel comfortable and help them find the nursery or other areas of interest. They seek to receive information of guests so we can send a thank you and deliver cookies as an expression of welcome. They are to see if there are pressing prayer needs and pray a very brief prayer of blessing. The CARE Ministers deliver cookies by Monday night to each local guest.
